Bitter irony

So I've been driving around the monstrous Ford Expedition, all the while feeling incredibly nervous about the possibility of hitting someone. This thing is SO huge and SO unwieldy, I just knew I was going to screw up.

So I'm sure you can imagine what's coming next... I was backing out of a parking space on Saturday when I hit... wait for it... a Honda Civic. Un-fucking-believable. I thought I couldn't hate SUVs any more than I already did. I was wrong.

The damages (to the Honda, of course - none to the Expedition) were thankfully minor, though I'm sure it will be enough that I'll need to use my insurance, thus jacking up my rates for years to come. If you're curious how it happened, hop in an Expedition some day and take a look in the review mirror. You might notice the massive blind spot you have that encompasses anything 6 feet or shorter. Such as a Honda Civic.

Damn it.
