A brief hiatus
FYI, I will be doing a silent meditation retreat in northern Thailand for the next 10 days, which means no blogging, e-mail or any other form of communication during that time. See you back here after the 28th!

I can't wait to hear about this experience, Barbara! Not sure what to say... have fun? Be quiet?!

Hope you enjoyed those 10 days of silence. I would probably be screaming by the end. Which I guess means that I would be kicked out of the retreat. Anyways - enjoyed reading about Vietnam. Guess I'll put it up there with the hundred other places I must visit sometime soon.
p.s. I bet you are sorry you missed "Portland Snowstorm 2007: When 2" of snow can gridlock a city". Fun times.

I have enjoyed reading these and I'm living vicariously...safe travels!

I'm extremely jealous. I could use 10 days of silence myself. Just please don't walk out of there believing you're the reincarnation of some Buddha. :-)
